White and odorless crystal powder. Melting point 175℃. Solubility: steadily soluble in water, hexanol, ethyl acetate, dimethylether; slightly soluble in isoacetone, acetone, methyl-ethyl ketone, insoluble in aliphatic hydrocarbons, trichloroethylene. It is able to sublime, and it is acidic. |
Usage: |
It is mainly used for synthesizing of halide hydantoin, hydantoin epoxide resin and hydantoin formal dehyde resin. If heated in water, it also can be used to synthesize dimethyl glycien. It is also the raw material of insecticides and acaricides. |
