Basic chemical and physical data: Beta-Cyfluthrin technical is white solid, the density is 1.34g/cm3 (20℃). Solubility: insoluble in water, slightly soluble in ethanol, steadily soluble in the organic solvents e.g. ethyl ether, acetone, toluene, dichloromethane. It will be stable for 2 years at least at normal temperature. It is stable in acidic condition, but it will decompose in basic condition when PH is greater than 7.5.
Usage: Beta-cyfluthrin has the similar action as Cyfluthrin, but the effect is double to Cyfluthrin. Beta-cyfluthrin is a synthetic pyrethroid insecticide that has both contact and stomach poison action. It is a non-systemic chemical used to control cutworms, ants, silverfish, cockroaches, termites, grain beetles, weevils, mosquitoes, fleas, flies, corn earworms, tobacco budworm, codling moth, European corn borer, cabbageworm, loopers, armyworms, boll weevil, alfalfa weevil, Colorado potato beetle, and
Toxicity: Acute oral toxicity LD50 is 1080mg/kg in rats.
Storage: Beta-Cyfluthrin shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
