Basic chemical and physical data: Orange crystal, with aroma compound odor. Melting point 48.5 - 49℃, boiling point 139 - 140℃. Vapor pressure: 0.0265 (29.5℃), 0.0137 (25℃). Solubility (27℃): <1mg/L in water, 400g/L in acetone, 580g/L in xylene. It is stable under normal condition; decompose in light, non-corrosive to metal.
Usage: Trifluralin is a herbicide in dry land, pre-emergency treat the soil for soybean, cotton, peanut, funflower, cole, potato, winter wheat, cabbage, clover, vegetable and garden, mulberry plantation, ornamental etc.
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50: 10000mg/kg in rats; 5000mg/kg in mice; >2000mg/kg in rabbits and chickens. Acute dermal LD50 is more than 2000mg/kg in rabbits. TLm (48h) is 4.2mg/L in carp, and 0.089mg/L in bluegill
Storage: Trifluralin shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
