Basic chemical and physical data: Orange crystal. Melting point 56 - 58℃. Vapor pressure (20℃) 40Pa. Solubility (25℃): 0.275mg/L in water, steadily soluble in organic solvents e.g. acetone and xylene. Stable to acids and bases.
Usage: Pendimethalin is a selective herbicide, control the broad-leaf weeds and annual weeds. It is mainly used in the fields of maize, rice, horsebean, cotton, earthnut, soybean, and also vegetables and tobacco.
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 is 1250mg/kg in rats; the acute dermal LD50 is 1620mg/kg in mice. No carcinogenic, mutagenic and teratogenic effects at experimental dosage. High toxic to fish and aquatic organisms. L
Storage: Pendimethalin shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
