Basic chemical and physical data: White crystal. Melting point 125 – 126.5℃. Vapor pressure (20℃) < 1.33mPa. Solubility (20℃): 1200ppm in water, 190g/L in ethanol, 450g/L in methanol, 130g/L in toluene.
Usage: Metribuzin is selective systemic herbicide, used to control the broad-leaf weeds and gramineae weeds in the fields of soybean, potato, tomato, clover, pea, carrot, sugarcane, bamboo shoot, pineapple etc.
Toxicity: Oral Acute LD50: 2200mg/kg in male rats, and 2345mg/kg in female rats, 698mg/kg in male mice, and 711mg/kg in female mice. TLm (48h) is more than 40mg/L in carp. ADI is 0.025mg/kg.
Storage: Metribuzin shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
