Basic chemical and physical data: Triclopyr-BEE technical is straw yellow liquid. Triclopyr-BEE: m.p. 148 – 150℃, b.p. 290℃, vapor pressure 0.168mPa (25℃). Solubility (25℃): 440mg/L in water, 989g/kg in acetone, 27.3g/kg in chloroform, 410mg/kg in hexane, 307g/kg in octanol.
Usage: Control of woody plants and many broad-leaved weeds (e.g. nettles, docks, brambles, gorse, broom) in grassland, uncultivated land, industrial areas, coniferous forests, plantation crops, and rice fields.
Toxicity: Acute oral LD50 (mg/kg): 713 in rat, 550 in rabbit, 310 in guinea pig, 1698 in mallard. Acute dermal LD50 for rabbits is more than 2000 mg/kg. Slightly eye irritant; not skin irritant (rabbits). Fish
Storage: Triclopyr-BEE shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
