Basic chemical and physical data: Pure Diquat is colorless to yellowish crystal, Diquat monohydrate is yellowish solid, m. p. 320℃ (decompose), Diquat technical is dark red-brown solution. Vapor pressure <0.01mPa (25℃), d (25℃) 1.61g/cm3. Solubility (20℃): 700g/L in water, slightly soluble in ethanol and carbonyl solvents, non-soluble in nonpolar solvents. Stability: stable in acidic and neutral media, unstable in basic condition.
Usage: Diquat is used to control the weeds in the fields of clover, sugar beet, soybean, sorghum, cotton, and also used to accelerate the blast of potato and Legume crops before the harvest.
Toxicity: Moderate toxicity. Acute oral LD50 is 408mg/kg in rats. Acute dermal LD50 is 793mg/kg in rats. Moderately irritant to eyes and skin.
Storage: Diquat shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
Package: 240kg iron drum, or according to the customer’s requirements.
