Basic chemical and physical data: The pure Fluometuron is colorless crystal, and Fluometuron technical is white crystal. m.p. 163 – 164.5℃. Vapor pressure: 0.125mPa (25℃) and 0.33mPa (30℃). Solubility (20℃): 150mg/L in water, steadily soluble in acetone, ethanol and isopropanol. At 20℃, it is stable in the neutral, acidic and basic medium. Decompose by UV-light.
Usage: Fluometuron is mainly used to control the annual weeds in the fields of maize, cotton etc. crops.
Toxicity: Fluometuron has low toxicity. The acute oral LD50 is 8000mg/kg in rat, the acute dermal LD50 is >2000mg/kg in rat. It is moderately irritative to eyes and skin of rabbit. It is low toxic to birds and
Storage: Fluometuron shall be stored in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. It should not be stored or transported along with foods.
